What chemicals are added to instant oats? As far as I know, they’re just rolled and pressed thinner so they cook faster but they have the exact same nutritional value as any other kind of oats.
Coconut is the most disgusting flavor of milk . Literally every brand and every use of it(ice cream, shavings, smoothies, milk etc.) Makes me want to run into traffic.
It's great when you do it yourself but if I buy a vegetal milk, it's just a lot of sugar! And water… For just a tiny little bit of others elements. So different! Even taste is just sugar. It's sad.
Didn't go over Santan sawit (I don't even think you can buy that in the US though). But also, no millet, sorghum, amaranth, or peanut milk. There's actually way more seeds and nuts people eat that they make milk out of, but you might not find them in the supermarket, but a lot of them taste better than hemp milk I'd say (not much of an accomplishment, but I do think there's a lot more good stuff out there).
Also, I think part of why soymilk specifically gets recommended while other plant milks don't is because it the US has a massive soy industry, not just for soymilk, but soybean oil, soymeal, animal feed and more.
Also the B12 think mentioned during the Banana milk segment is only true right now in certain places and it's because of things like modern water treatment killing the bacteria that produce B12, and the only reason B12 is particularly prevalent in animal sources is because we feed animals B12 supplements.
Having grown up with rolled oats in milk being one of my main and favourite breakfast cereals, I already associate the flavour of oats with milk. Oat milk has therefore been a favourite milk substitute of mine since finding out I'm lactose intolerant. =)

So far I only like almond milk. I've only tried oat, flax seed, coconut, normal, and soy. I only use rice milk in my hair, sometimes skin
